Dunkin’ after hot coffee badly burns husband in New Jersey

But a New Jersey man and his wife are rushing to court after a hot cup of Dunkin’ coffee reportedly burnt him.

Two cups of coffee and iced coffee were purchased by Evan and Stephanie Arlington-Macias on August 25, 2021, according to a complaint filed in Passaic County on April 4.

A cup of coffee fell on Arlington’s lap in the drive-thru, said their lawyer, William Gold.

Arlington had medical costs, and Arlington-Macias, 37, allegedly lost her husband’s “help, comfort, conjugal fellowship, and consortium.”

They want unspecified damages. Dunkin’ Donuts did not respond.

On 1992, 79-year-old Stella Liebeck received $2.7 million from McDonald’s after a burning hot beverage fell in her lap caused third-degree burns.
