After the TikTok drama, Candace Cameron Bure apologised for breaking JoJo Siwa’s “11-year-old heart.”

Candace Cameron Bure said that she talked to influencer JoJo Siwa after she called her the “rudest celebrity.” Find out what happened between Candace and JoJo years ago on a red carpet.

Candace Cameron Bure wants to set the record straight.

The Full House star went on Instagram to “talk about the JoJo situation” after JoJo Siwa said on TikTok that Candace was the “rudest celebrity” she had ever met.

Candace said in her video from July 26 that she was “shocked” when she saw JoJo’s TikTok on July 24. She said she tried to get in touch with the 19-year-old because she “had no idea” where JoJo’s claim came from.

Candace says she and JoJo had a “great conversation,” during which JoJo said “she didn’t think this was going to go viral” and told Candace “she didn’t think it was a big deal.”

The star of Full House remembered telling the dancer, “So, it was a big deal, but what did I do to you? Because all I remember is that we met at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and that went really well.”

Candace said that JoJo “didn’t want to tell me because she thought it was so stupid.”

Candace went on to say, “Then she said, “You know, I met you when I was 11 years old at the premiere of Fuller House.” We were all on the red carpet, and I asked you, “Can I take a picture with you?” You said, “Not right now.” Then you kept doing what you were doing and took pictures with other people on the red carpet.”

She replied by telling JoJo, “I guess I broke your heart when you were 11. I didn’t take a photo of you and me. Ugh! I feel terrible, and I’m so sorry, JoJo.”

Candace said that JoJo said, “I get it now as an adult when you’re on the red carpet and everything is happening and you’re being pulled in different directions, but at the time, I was only 11.”

Now that they’ve talked it out, Candace said, “Everything is good with JoJo,” and she also told them “the lesson” she learned.

“I think the lesson we can learn is that even a 10-second trending TikTok video can hurt you, no matter how many followers you have,” she said. “Because what we say and do matters, and whether we have 50 million followers, 500 followers, or only five followers, we all have an effect on the people around us.”

Candace added a note for fans who have met her before at the end of her message.

Candace said, “If you’ve ever met me in person and I wasn’t who you were hoping or expecting me to be, I’m sorry.” “Sorry in the sense that people often ask me for photos and autographs, which I love to do 99 percent of the time. I love talking to people and saying hello and all that.”

She also said, “But I’m still a person, just like everyone else in the public eye, and sometimes you have a bad day.”
