Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, acknowledged on Tuesday that he had “crossed a line” with an Instagram model but insisted that he hadn’t cheated on his pregnant wife. Meanwhile, two additional women came forward to say that the singer had sent them sexy DMs.
Sumner Stroh, 23, accused the tattooed father of two of having a year-long romance with her in a now-viral TikTok post. Levine, 43, admitted to exchanging “flirtatious” texts to Stroh.
Levin posted a statement on Instagram, saying, “I used bad judgement in interacting with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirty manner. “Even though I didn’t have an affair, I crossed the line during a regretful time in my life. It became incorrect in several situations.
Levine promised to work through the controversy with his 34-year-old wife, former Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo. The two girls of the couple, who have been married since 2014, are 5 and 4 years old. The couple announced their third pregnancy earlier this month.
He continued, “My wife and my family are everything to me in this world. “The biggest mistake I could have ever made was to be this naive and ignorant to risk the only thing that actually mattered to me. I won’t succeed again. I accept full accountability. We’ll overcome it together and we’ll overcome it.
Stroh stated that she had been dating the “Moves Like Jagger” singer for almost a year when she “graduated college in 2021” in the shocking video that has received more than 15 million views.
But when Levine unexpectedly messaged her in June, claiming he wanted to call his unborn son “Sumner,” she claimed she hadn’t spoken to him in months.
Levine allegedly wrote in the June 1 conversation, “Ok serious inquiry.” “I’m expecting another child, and this one is a boy. I really want to name him Sumner. You agree to that? VERY serious
Stroh, who is originally from Texas but now resides in Los Angeles, claims she only went public with her story because she was duped by a friend who allegedly gave screenshots of Levine’s lewd conversations to an unnamed newspaper.

Stroh appeared to disparage Levine in a mysterious Instagram post following Levine’s denial.
She wrote on Facebook, “Someone get this dude a dictionary.”
In the midst of the uproar, two additional women allegedly posted screenshots of flirtatious texts they exchanged with Levine, according to TMZ.
Levine allegedly contacted Alyson Rosef on Monday, saying, “I shouldn’t be talking to you, you realise [that] right? “, according to a green screen TikTok video she posted.
Another woman, comedian Maryka, shared her reported DMs with Levine on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. His alleged reply to her allegedly said, “I’m now infatuated with you.”
Maryka replied, “Dude, aren’t you like married,” to which the singer allegedly replied, “Yes, but it’s kind of difficult.”
Levine hasn’t responded to either of the women’s allegations in the media.
Stroh received negative feedback on TikTok, where some claimed she was a grown lady who showed no remorse for having an alleged affair with a married guy.
In a different Monday TikTok video, she stated that she “completely realize[s]” that she is “not the victim” of the circumstance.
“In this, I’m not the one getting injured. Behati and her kids are there,” Stroh continued. And I’m truly sorry for it.
Later, she talked about the backlash to her statements on Instagram Stories.
“Aware people will attempt to fill in the blanks with numerous unfounded assumptions. Given how this had to be handled, I don’t feel like I’m doing anyone any favours, Stroh said. It’s a lot to take in, but perhaps the truth coming out will at the very least be beneficial.
Late on Monday, Stroh also shared a “part 2” video in which she expressed her “disgust” with herself.
She confessed, “I’m mortified and so ashamed of the sorrow and hurt I’ve caused.” I didn’t say that in this video since I didn’t want to sound whiny.
