Michael Kiwanuka will headline London festival Cross The Tracks next year.
The one-day event focusses on soul, jazz, and beyond, melting together club tropes with improvisational freedom. Previous instalments have featured everyone from Ezra Collective to Patrice Rushen and Roy Ayers, with its open-minded booking policy attracting a devoted fanbase.
Next year Cross The Tracks returns on May 25th for a Sunday all-dayer, with Mercury winner Michael Kiwanuka set to headline. The songwriter’s new album lands this Autumn, and it follows a knockout performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this summer.

Set to be a real highlight, Michael Kiwanuka is joined by Kiwi-in London Jordan Rakei, who recently sold out the Royal Albert Hall twice over. Elsewhere, you can catch Sinead Harnett, Bashy, and Shae Universe, while Gilles Peterson heads up the DJ line-up.
Afrobeat kingpin Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 will hit Cross The Tracks, with the line-up also finding space for JGrrey, Fabiana Palladino, and modern soul group Thee Sinseers.
Cross The Tracks 2025 takes place on May 25th.
