Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains will release new album ‘Âge Fleuve’ on January 31st.

The project’s decade-long journey has taken them around Europe and beyond, releasing some inspired music along the way. Recently signalling its return, the project remains helmed by Frànçois Marry, a songwriter who continually seeks out fresh inspiration.

Now located back in his native France, Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains are set to release a new album in the New Year. The songwriting is deeply influenced by the loss of Marry’s father during the pandemic, looking at identity, memory, and heritage in the process.

Hugely personal, guests include close friends the songwriter has accumulated on his travels – including Rozi Plain, Malik Djoudi, and in-demand jazzmanThomas de Pourquery.

New song ‘Party’ has something magical in its veins – a glimpse of life’s closure, it’s an inspired, but hugely bittersweet performance.

Tune in now.

Catch Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains at London’s Moth Club on April 10th, and Bristol’s The Lantern on April 11th.
