Following his weekend night out with girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Leonardo DiCaprio kept a low profile on Wednesday while sporting his regular baseball cap.
The 47-year-old “Revenant” actor drove around New York City wearing a grey baseball cap, black shorts, and a white collared shirt. He wore a grey mask during the weekday getaway with friends, covering the lower half of his face.
The actor recently celebrated with his buddies at the upscale, members-only hotspot Casa Cipriani, which also included art dealer Helly Nahmad.
The “Wolf of Wall Street” star wore his trademark all-black costume with a baseball cap, according to spies who spoke to Page Six. He had previously worn the same look while spending time with Hadid a few days prior.
At a party organised by Leonardo DiCaprio’s friends Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol at a loft in SoHo on Saturday, the actor and his new leading woman were seen getting a bit intimate.
In pictures from the event, DiCaprio could be seen putting his hands on the model’s shoulders while the two were engaged in discussion.
Hadid appeared to maintain her other hand on the actor’s leg with no apparent issue with their tight proximity.
The group watched performances by DJ Diplo and rapper Kodak Black, the spy added, adding that Leo was hanging out with his guy buddies while Gigi was with her model friends.
Page Six received confirmation from sources on Monday that the couple was dating but was still “taking it easy.”
The couple has “primarily [been] hanging out with groups,” according to a source, but they have gone on “solo” dates “a handful of times.”
They continued, “[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in and out of relationships. He doesn’t run from hookup to hookup. They are moving slowly.
When the two were first spotted out together in New York City in July, and then again after his breakup with 25-year-old Camila Morrone, rumours about their alleged romance first began to circulate.
After four years of dating, Morrone and the “Don’t Look Up” actor announced their breakup in August, but they didn’t say why or when they did it.
Given that the A-list actor is well-known for only dating ladies younger than 25, his fans were startled to learn that he was now dating Hadid, 27.
The actor was actually criticised for exclusively dating models till they were in their mid-20s after the news of DiCaprio and Morrone’s split broke online.
Someone posted, “The girl Leonardo DiCaprio will dump when he’s 72 was born today.”
One commenter at the time joked, “titanic turns 25 this year at which point I guess leonardo dicaprio will no longer want to be in it.”
Another person remarked, “Leonardo DiCaprio breaking up with his girl by age 25, the facts are amazing. There’s no occurrence on this earth more trustworthy.”
Since breaking up with her on-again, off-again lover Zayn Malik in October 2021, this is Hadid’s first prominent relationship. Khai, the pair’s 2-year-old daughter, is shared.
