Business potential for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could endanger their relationship with the Royal Family and, consequently, their children.
The debate over whether Archie and Lilibet should have been addressed as “Royal Highnesses” is now irrelevant because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer considered to be working members of the Royal Family.
The use of the titles Prince and Princess, which should be given to the grandchildren of the current reigning monarch automatically, is quite debatable, according to royal analyst Duncan Larcombe.
“The King can only be objecting to them using their titles as Prince and Princess if he really is doing it to punish Harry and Meghan,” Larcombe said to Fox News Digital. “It’s the official rubber stamp that matters.”
Larcombe asserts that a decision might be made at any time, most likely this week. He thinks it odd that the King or Buckingham Palace have not yet issued a public declaration.
PRINCE HARRY MAKES FIRST STATEMENT SINCE THE DEATH OF THE QUEEN: This parting is the last, and it makes us very sad.
In the meanwhile, though, what is taking place is essentially a chaotic, maybe strategic game of chess.
Whoever makes the first move will put pressure on their family member opponent to either concede or raise the stakes.
“I believe that what we are seeing from the palace may be a plan; I won’t claim that this is their new approach just yet. In his very first address, King Charles extends a tremendous, enormous olive branch by expressing his love for Harry, reiterating that affection, and mentioning Meghan by name. When William reaches out to his brother, the “Fab Four” are suddenly reunited, albeit momentarily in sorrow. However, it appears that everything in this nation depends on Harry and Meghan’s next move now that they are likely heading home. They now have the initiative.”
The Queen’s passing forced Meghan to delay her podcast, and Harry’s tell-all book puts their future relationship with the monarchy in jeopardy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not been seen in public since the Queen’s burial, which was almost a week ago.
“That could be the cause of the delay in clarifying; King Charles could be watching to see, for instance, how they act now that they have been extended an olive branch. They could have to earn that by refraining from slandering the royal family in Harry’s upcoming autobiography “Larcombe says.
According to the Royal expert, the pair, who currently resides in California, is “creating a brand.” “Nearly all of the brand’s attention is given to its connection to the British royal family. Therefore, it makes a significant difference commercially if it’s Meghan Markle, whose daughter Lilibet is a princess, given that they’re generally looking for the highest bidder.”
Who is to say what might occur in the future, even though the children, who are only 3 and 1 years old, appear to be innocent at the moment and are unduly affected by the greater instability of their already turbulent family?

The wider family’s reputation will be impacted by what Princess (Lilibet) and Prince Archie do, get up to, and who they hang out with, according to Larcombe. “Imagine 15, 20, or more years from now, and you have Princess (Lilibet) and Prince Archie charging around L.A., having never really participated in any meaningful way in royal life.
“Although they are currently adorable, cuddly children, who knows what could happen. I’m not implying that Archie and Lilibet will engage in scandal. Just put, I’m warning against the possibility of a high-profile couple being referred to as prince and princess simply because they are linked to the British royal family but not in any other way, shape, or form.”
Even though King Charles III won’t be officially crowned until next summer, Larcombe believes that this will be his “first major test” as Britain’s newest king.
When the public hears Harry and Meghan complain, “he needs to try and do everything he can so that he is, in some ways, not viewed as the villain, but seen as the dad who tried, but because of his position, his hands are limited,” says the author.
In interviews, Prince Harry and Meghan have been outspoken about the treatment that prompted them to resign from their official duties. Larcombe adds that even if the King “very definitely… never tells publicly” the reasoning behind whatever decision he makes, “He needs to do something.”
“King Charles may be trying to discipline his son. Possibly, “Larcombe says. “I contend that King Charles is only attempting to preserve the monarchy over which he has recently assumed leadership. The goal is to prevent the monarchy from being used by those who do not work or dedicate their lives to the responsibilities of being a royal but make riches by exploiting the royal brand. So, is it protection or punishment? Most likely both.”
