How to Watch Donald Trump’s ‘Victory Rally’: Time, Speakers, Musical Guests

President-elect Donald Trump will try to fire up his base with one last pre-inauguration rally on Sunday, January 19 in Washington, D.C.

Newsweek reached out to the D.C. mayor’s office and Trump transition team by email on Saturday afternoon for comment.

Trump’s second inauguration is set for Monday, January 20, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Thousands of supporters have traveled to the nation’s capital to attend the event, but Trump has requested that the ceremony be moved inside the Capitol due to extremely cold weather.

Trump will hold a “rally-type event” at the Capital One Arena, home to the NBA‘s Washington Wizards and the NHL‘s Washington Capitals, on Sunday. The arena has a 20,000-person capacity.

“We have made our arena available to every administration for inaugural events, dating back decades, irrespective of party,” the company said in a statement NBC 4 Washington. “We are happy that President Trump has accepted our offer and we will welcome him and his guests to Capital One Arena on January 19.”

The event, called the “Make America Great Again Victory Rally,” will kick off at 3 p.m. ET, with doors opening at 1 p.m. ET, according to a sign-up form on the Trump-Vance inauguration website.

Each person may only register up to two tickets per mobile number.

The easiest way to watch the rally is online at YouTube, where several outlets will live-stream it, including LiveNOW from FOX and FOX5 DC (which is also available Roku, AmazonFireTV, Apple TV, Google Android TV and Vizio with the FOX LOCAL app, per FOX 5 News).

USA Today‘s suite of imprints, including The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and The Tennesseanwill also livestream the ceremony on YouTube.

The inaugural events website only lists Trump as delivering remarks on Sunday, but The Associated Press reported that speakers will also include Vice President-elect JD Vancetech entrepreneur Elon Muskwrestling superstar Hulk Hogan, actor Jon Voight, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Anuel AA, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly.

The rally will include a number of big-name musical guests, including, most prominently, the Village People, who will perform their 1978 hit “YMCA,” which has become an integral part of the Trump Universe due to the president-elect using it to close out his rallies throughout the 2024 campaign.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Kid Rock will also perform on Sunday, according to Axiosand Lee Greenwood, singer of “God Bless The USA,” will also perform, per AP.

A Liberty University Choir will also perform a tribute to the rallygoer killed in Butler, Pennsylvania during the assassination attempt on Trump, which also injured three people.
