J Barly continues his spiritual journey, which he embarked on in 2024 after announcing that he had given his life to God following a failed suicide attempt.
The South African rapper initially declared that he was quitting music entirely, even adopting a new name. However, he has since returned to the industry—but with a different purpose. Now pursuing a gospel music career, J Barly is preparing to release his first official gospel song.
As part of his transition, he has decided to part ways with his old catalog of secular music, offering it up for sale.
“Selling all my secular music as I’m only dropping gospel now & I feel the world deserves to hear my past music. Too good to go to waste. Hit my DM if you’re interested, I’m flexible & we can negotiate! Limited time offer. Bless up!” he shared.
