Flaunt Weeekly

NEW YORK — Controversial rapper Kanye West has publicly appealed to U.S. President Donald Trump to secure the release of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the music mogul currently imprisoned on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kanye made a direct plea to Trump, writing, “@realDonaldTrump, please free my brother Puff.”

West also called out the alleged hypocrisy of Diddy’s friends. Suggesting that the unnamed friends also lost their tempers on their partners.

Alongside his appeal for Diddy’s release, Kanye also announced plans for a Yeezy collaboration with Diddy’s Sean John clothing branda deal that he claims was in discussion before the producer’s arrest.

“I’m selling a Sean John collaboration that me and my brother spoke about before they locked him up. We splitting the profits 50/50,” Kanye wrote.

Diddy’s official Instagram account, which is believed to be managed by his family, later responded, sharing a screenshot of Kanye’s post and adding:

“Thank you to my brother @Ye,” along with a link to the Yeezy website.

Diddy has been behind bars since September 2024, following his arrest by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.

He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City, facing over 30 civil lawsuits related to sexual assault and misconduct.

Diddy has denied all allegations, entering a not-guilty plea in court. However, his bail requests have been denied twice, leaving him awaiting trial behind bars.

Health Scare and Upcoming Trial

Recently, reports surfaced that Diddy was rushed to a Brooklyn hospital after suffering a knee injury. He was treated and later returned to his cell.

With his trial set to begin later this year, Diddy continues to maintain his innocence, while supporters like Kanye West advocate for his release.

As of now, President Trump has not publicly responded to Kanye’s plea.
