London group The Orchestra (For Now) return with new song ‘The Strip’.

The band played the CLASH stage at the First Fifty showcase before Christmas, a multi-venue East London excursion from the team behind The Great Escape. Living up to the hype, The Orchestra (For Now) played a heavy duty set, laden with ideas that refused to cohere to any formal rule or guideline.

New EP ‘Plan 75’ is out on March 28th, with the band set to play a special headline show at London’s ICA on April 10th.

Ahead of this, you can check them out at Navigation Festival on March 16th, taking place at vital Birkenhead music hub Future Yard.

New song ‘The Strip’ is out now, and it peels away false outer layers to present unvarnished truths. A colossal torrent of noise, it lives up to the group’s orchestral title – a free-wheeling quicksilver rush of inspired ideas.

As the group put it…

“This is the big one. All of the arrangements quirks and songwriting motifs you’ve heard before, but with more passion and less attention to detail. It was previously an instrumental, but now it has lyrics.”

Tune in now.
