Tony Khan promised “exclusive backstage footage” of CM Punk on tonight’s (Aug. 26) episode of Rampage, following his shocking world title loss to Jon Moxley earlier this week on Dynamite. Punk lost the match quickly after appearing to re-injure his surgically repaired foot.
Khan promised backstage footage, so here it is. The exclusive portion lasts approximately 19 seconds:

During the footage, Punk is in the trainer’s room. He claims he was unable to put any weight on his foot. He didn’t hear a pop; his foot simply gave way. Punk admits that’s not good, but he has no idea what’s going on.
According to reports, Punk will rematch with Moxley for the title on September 4 at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view event near CM’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Do you think this exclusive footage explains why Punk was able to return to the ring so quickly next weekend?
