Madonna seemed to have come out. The pop icon made a gay implication in a new video that was uploaded to TikTok on Sunday.
A pink-haired Madonna attempted to toss a pair of fuchsia underpants in the trash while riding the wave of a recent TikTok craze. The 64-year-old singer tried and failed to throw the underpants into the open trash can as the words “If I miss, I’m Gay” appeared over the screen. Then, with her hand on her hip and in a playful turn away from the camera, she put up her hands in acknowledgment.
There was no commentary on the video, but there were plenty of comments from the “Material Girl” singer’s supporters and admirers who praised her for potentially coming out.
One fan remarked, “Did I just see Madonna coming out, excellent for her,” and another added, “Welcome.”
After Madonna was photographed kissing Dominican artist Tokischa while seated first row at New York Fashion Week, a video was released. Over the summer, the couple was also photographed kissing at a Pride celebration.
In Madonna’s most recent music video for the remix of her 2005 song, “Hung Up,” Tokischa, 26, costarred with her.
In the “Hung Up on Tokischa” rendition from 2022, Madonna and Tokischa are unable to keep their hands separate.
The couple shares kisses on the dance floor, in an empty room with flashing lights, and finally in front of a large crowd. The pair takes a moment to pray throughout the obscene video.
Tokischa makes stuff for Only Fans aside from rap. While the specifics of their relationship are unclear, Madonna recently called it up with her three-year lover, Ahlamalik Williams.
The newest single from Madonna’s Finally Enough Love remix album, which includes contemporary remakes of all 50 of her dance chart-topping tracks, is “Hung Up on Tokischa.”
Following “Material Gworrllllll!,” a remix of Saucy Santana’s 1984 single “Material Girl,” comes the remix for “Hung Up.”
