The Salem Witch Trials meet goth glam.
Alexandra Daddario is establishing herself as a true fashionista. And, based on the track record of women who have been given the opportunity to attend the Christian Dior presentation during Paris Fashion Week, she’s well on her way to becoming friends with the fashion industry. Daddario arrived at the Tuileries Gardens in Paris today to soak it all in, and she channeled her play, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, with a coven-ready ensemble of corsets and Crucible-inspired black.
Daddario’s style was all Dior, with a tight, boned corset with lace details and a black gown with voluminous sleeves, an almost monastic neck, and a full skirt. The hem slid to her ankles, revealing a pair of gleaming black platform Mary Janes. She completed the look with a Dior Book Bag, which added a splash of white to her all-black attire. She wore her hair slicked back and added a pop of color with a red lips.
Daddario discussed the termination of her AMC+ show, noting that the position allowed her to be “very wild.”
“As an actress, you just have to say, OK, eff it, I’m going to attempt something really outrageous,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
The program has been renewed for a second season, and Daddario expressed excitement about delving even deeper into her character – and getting a little further away from New Orleans in the process.
“I know we’re going to delve more into her Scottish ancestors’ origins and really get to explore a different world outside of New Orleans, which is extremely interesting. I believe things simply get ramped up a notch, and you get to see Rowan really immersed in this world “She stated. “The first season is spent establishing where she is, who she is, and how she acquired these abilities. Now that she completely understands who she is, I believe things will only get more chaotic from here.”
