It’s been two years since Brooklyn-bred rapper Casanovaturned himself in for federal racketeering and drug charges. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 60 years in prison.
On Sunday, Casanova took to Twitter to share a message reflecting on his time in prison.
God’s saying today, “I’m going to repay you for the years the enemy has stolen, years you spent lonely, years you spent being mistreated. You’re going to have plenty of joy, peace, resources & opportunities.” I hope that don’t go over y’all heads.. BTW, today makes 2 years!!!!

The Incarcerated Rapper Recently Gave Back For The Holidays
Despite his time away, Casanova has still been active in giving back to the community. According to The Sourcethe 36-year-old sponsored a Thanksgiving event at the Children of Promise non-profit organization in Brooklyn, New York. The purpose of the event was to “partner with children and families impacted by mass incarceration.” And promote healing in Black and brown communities.
The event was promoted on the rapper’s Instagram page.
