Flying Lotus returns with new single ‘Ingo Swann’.

The LA beat maker recently signalled his return with summer single ‘Garmonbozia’, a track that lifted 80s body funk aspects and transplanted them on to his own singular production voice.

The track was a pivot of sorts, with FlyLo having spent time focussing on his visual output – he recently completed work on the sci-fi horror film Ash, serving as both Director and Composer, while he also worked on Netflix anime series Yasuke, and created the theme for Apple’s Magic Johnson doc They Call Me Magic.

If ‘Garmonbozia’ served as a continuation of his music output, then ‘Ingo Swann’ switches lanes once more. A direct, playful return, the house setting offers something different within his often challenging, at times esoteric catalogue.

Lifting its title from the famed psychic of the same name, ‘Ingo Swann’ aims to bring something otherworldly to the club.

Tune in now.
