Clarence Abiodun Peters, a Nigerian music video director and filmmaker, has allied with the popular streaming platform Netflix for the production of his debut series, “Inside Life.”

Filled with drama, suspense, and raw emotions, Clarence Peters aims for a stellar performance and acceptance with “Inside Life.”

The TV series will depict the lives of Nigerians living in an unpredictable country, terrified by the policies meted out by the government and how the people adjust to it with a low chance of survival.

The plot of the TV series tells of a desperate man, a devoted sister, and an ambitious woman, all facing their hardships in Lagos State, Nigeria.

This is not the music director’s first time in filmmaking as he had once directed a short horror film, “Hex,” in 2014, which premiered at the 2015 5th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), winning the Best Short Film award.

With “Inside Life” premiering on October 11, 2024, Clarence Peters has employed the talents of several Nollywood actors to keep the audience at the edge of their seats as strong themes of greed, power, and survival are heavily portrayed to truly capture the hearts and minds of Nigerians in the series.

The series stars Jide Kosoko, Gabriel Afolayan, Jiyan Babaoja, Zack Orji, Meg Otanwa, and Scarlett Gomez.

“When we leave our homes, we don’t know what can happen. You could find yourself rich within the day, or they kidnap you, or you have an encounter with the police. It started with this premise,” Clarence explained.
