Melting together her classical and electronic impulses…

Ruthlss has shared her beautiful new track ‘Fallen’.
The producer is classically trained, by began absorbing club culture as a student. Allowing these twin poles to converse in her imagination, Ruthlss is able to blend enigmatic soundscapes with a sharply-defined rhythmic engine.
Working with AMF Records’ electronically-minded Select Few imprint, new track ‘Fallen’ is an effective mind-meld between two different disciplines. The track emerged from a period of self-doubt following a break-up, with Ruthlss pushing through feelings into her music.
Out now, it’s a hugely ambitious feast of electronic production – lush and emotive, the world-building aspect acts as a metaphor for the producer’s own attempts to knit their heart back together.
She comments…
‘Fallen’ is about the aftermath of a painful breakup from a toxic relationship. It’s for anyone who has or is having to rebuild themselves all over again after losing themselves completely to someone else. Amidst the heartbreak and solitude, the curtain falls and you realise that your life belongs to you again and that’s a beautiful thing.
The pain has made you who you are now – stronger from having experienced the depths of human emotion, and forever empowered from surviving it.
The track is an intentional fusion of classical and electronic – two genres that I’m endlessly passionate about which I feel capture the full depth of human emotion – a nod to my future releases which combine the two genres even more.
Tune in now.
