serpentwithfeet will release new project ‘GRIP SEQUEL’ on February 28th.
The American artist supplied his album ‘GRIP’ last year, another chapter in his ongoing creative evolution. Someone who leaves his ideas open to the world, serpentwithfeet was profiled by CLASH for an in-depth cover story.
He told us: “I always follow the passion and that little light… it’ll lead you to parts of yourself unknown…”
New project ‘GRIP SEQUEL’ builds on his prior work – landing on February 28th, it’s a mixture of new compositions, and alternative versions of three tracks from ‘GRIP’.
Alongside the new work, serpentwithfeet has commissioned a new version of ‘Lucky Me’ with strings, and remixes of ‘Spades’, featuring Ogi and Destin Conrad, and a ‘Damn Gloves’ remix by Baile Funk featuring Ty Dolla $ign, TH41 & Azzy.
New song ‘WRITHING IN THE WIND’ is out now – according to serpent, it’s “the sound of a lover begging. He knows he messed up but desperately wants a second chance.”
