Afrobeat singer Rema achieved a monumental mark as his hit song “Calm Down” remix featuring Selena Gomez surpassed one billion views on YouTube.
This new achievement cements its position as the most-viewed Nigerian song on the platform.
This feat was accomplished on November 9, 2024, just over two years after the video’s premiere on September 7, 2022.

5. Burna Boy – Last Last: Burna Boy’sLast Last” was released through Atlantic Records on 13 May 2022 as the first single from his sixth studio album, Love, Damini. It has 298 million views on Youtube.
6. Davido – Fall: The song currently has 294 million views on You Tube and is Davido’s most viewed video ever on You Tube.
7. Wizkid – Joro: Released in 2019, Wizkid’s Joro is currently the 7th most viewed Nigerian music on YouTube with 291 million views.
