Nigeria social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, commonly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has disclosed that renowned music producer and Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, is the anonymous donor that sent N100m to his newly established NGO.

VeryDarkMan earlier stated that the NGO will focus on community development and improving the quality of public education in Nigeria.

VDM initially raised concerns regarding the huge amount that was deposited into his account a video shared on his Instagram account.

In the post, he called on Zenith Bank to investigate the situation.

“I don’t know what is going on, hope I’m not being set up… I AM NOT INTO MONEY LAUNDERING; I DO NOT DO FRAUD (FOR THE RECORD) Nigerians bear me witness, I don’t know what’s up with the account,” he wrote.

However, in a new video shared on Thursday, VDM confirmed that Don Jazzy personally reached out to inform him that he sent the N100m.

In a video, VDM captioned it “This is the person that sent my NGO the 100 million naira: TILL NOW I CANT BELIEVE IT… ONE HUNDRED MILLION NAIRA left an account just like that.

“As you have supported this course to bring better basic education for our public school children, may God bring long life and good health to you and your household.”

He further disclosed that barely five days after establishing the NGO, he has received N175m in donations.
