The Foo Fighters have announced three new tour dates for 2023, their first since losing drummer Taylor Hawkins nearly a year ago.

The new tour will begin this spring on May 24 in New Hampshire. As of now, the shows, which include many festival dates, will culminate on September 17 in New Jersey.

On Friday, tickets for future Foo Fighters gigs will be available on the band’s website (March 3).

In other Foo Fighters news, the band has announced many upcoming headlining festival appearances, including the 2023 Fuji Rock Fest, Boston Calling Fest, and Bonnaroo.

Hawkins died on tour in Colombia in March 2022. Following his death, the Foo Fighters held two tribute shows in London and Los Angeles. The band wrote a fan message on the band’s “most difficult and heartbreaking year” towards the end of last year.

“Over the past 27 years, our fans have developed a worldwide community, a loyal support system that has helped us all get through the worst of times together,” the letter continued. “A place to express our joy and our suffering, our dreams and anxieties, and to join in a chorus of life together via music. Without Taylor, we would never have become the band that we are—and without Taylor, we know that we will be a different band in the future.”
