‘American Idol’ Winner Just Sam Opens Up About Her Hospitalization and Says, ‘I Seriously Need Help.’

On Friday, Samantha “Just Sam” Diaz of American Idol posted messages from the hospital on her Instagram Story.

Samantha Diaz, a.k.a. Just Sam, has revealed that she is hospitalised due to an unknown illness.

The singer, who won the third season of ABC’s American Idol in 2020, documented her hospital stay on Instagram earlier this week.

Diaz, 23, thanked fans for their support on Friday, writing, “I appreciate everyone’s prayers. I’m doing much better these days.”

She captioned a photo of a weight scale, “100lbs is crazyyy… I seriously need help.”

She has not stated why she is hospitalised.

Diaz first informed fans of her hospitalisation on Wednesday, posting a message on her Instagram Stories that read, “Thank you to everyone who inquired about my well-being. I am ALIVE and have been released from the hospital “as stated by Heavy

She later shared a video of a gift and card she received, according to the outlet “I adore you so much. I just wanted to send you a small token of my appreciation. I hope you’re feeling better now.”

In the video, Diaz also stated, “Look at what my baby got me, guys. Awwww! Oh my goodness, after such a horrible day!”

She continued to share her story, posting a video of herself wearing a face mask and writing, “I need a better hospital bruh.” “To be honest, I despise it here.”

During a live (and remote) virtual episode of Idol in 2020, the Harlem singer was crowned season 3 winner.

During that season, contestants and judges broadcasted remotely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Diaz previously stated on Idol, “My grandmother has said that she doesn’t believe that people like us can have our dreams come true.” “She needs to see this!”

“I kept pushing, kept singing, and look where it got me,” the former subway singer explained. “I hope to inspire all of the little girls who believe their dreams are unattainable. It’s something that anyone can do.”
