As the youngest two-time acting winner, Zendaya once again breaks the Emmy record with “Euphoria,” and she thanks “Anyone Who Has Loved A Rue, Or Feels Like A Rue.”

Zendaya, who starred in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria, has once more made history at the Emmys. She won her second Drama Actress trophy today, making her the youngest actress to ever win the award twice. (You can watch her whole acceptance speech above.)

The actress thanked the cast and crew of Euphoria after saying that she was “proud to be beside” the other “great actresses” in her category. “Thank you for creating such a secure environment to do this extremely challenging event. I adore you all so much, Zendaya said. “I would want to thank the Academy as well as my friends and family, some of whom are present tonight. Sam [Levinson] was kind enough to share Rue with me. I’m grateful that you gave me your support even though I didn’t think I deserved it.

Zendaya continued, thanking individuals who have shared their tales with her in the spirit of her character’s, saying that her “biggest goal for Euphoria was that it could help heal people.” Anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like a Rue should know that she is extremely appreciative of their experiences and that she carries them with her as well. I appreciate it, very much.

In addition, if Euphoria wins the award for Outstanding Drama Series, Zendaya, 26, who is an executive producer on the programme, might shortly break the record for youngest producer winner. As the co-lyricist of the Euphoria songs “Elliot’s Song” and “I’m Tired,” she also received two nominations this year for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, however she and her fellow nominees Labrinth, Muzhda Zemar-McKenzie, and Sam Levinson were defeated by Schmigadoon’s Cinco Paul.

Zendaya previously broke the record for the youngest Drama Actress when she won her first Emmy in 2020 for her starring role in Euphoria.

The actress outperformed several Emmy nominees this year, including Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh from Killing Eve, Laura Linney from Ozark, Reese Witherspoon from The Morning Show, and Melanie Lynskey from Yellowjackets.
