General Ketheric Thorm, a seemingly unstoppable necromancer leading an army of the dead towards the eponymous city of Baldur’s Gate—and voiced by none other than famed character actor J.K. Simmons—was revealed in Larian’s latest Baldur’s Gate III teaser.

“Ketheric is a man with complex desires and motivations, so we knew we wanted to work with a renowned character actor who could deliver the kind of nuanced performance we were looking for while searching for his voice—so we selected J.K. Simmons” (Whiplash, Spider-Man). While we expected it, we were still surprised by how much his performance contributed to the character’s development. “During the next few months, we’ll introduce you to two more antagonists—keep an eye out,” revealed Larian creative director Swen Vincke in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

Many gameplay secrets are also included in the latest Baldur’s Gate III trailer:

Split-Screen Cooperative Play – Use split-screen cooperative play to play with up to two players on a single PlayStation 5, or play online with up to four players!
Controller Support – During early access on Steam, Baldur’s Gate III only enabled mouse-and-keyboard gameplay, but the new teaser gives a first peek at what to anticipate from full controller compatibility at launch.

Finally, the PlayStation Blog post went into detail on the Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition of Baldur’s Gate III, which are both available to pre-order for PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store.

All PC early-access gamers (as well as anyone who buys the game between now and releases) have been automatically upgraded to the Deluxe Edition.
