Right thru husband Jay-Z’s verse on their hit tune “Drunk In Like,” he raps, “Beat the sphere up, cherish Mike in ’97, I bite / I’m Ike Turner, turn up youngster, no, I don’t play / Child, no, I don’t play, now eat the cake, Anna Mae / Said eat the cake, Anna Mae!”

The line reportedly referenced a dispute Ike as soon as had with the Grammy winnerwhose right title is Anna Mae Bullock, over a fraction of cake.

Whatever the diss, Beyoncé had nothing but praise for Turner following her death.

“I just like you without a shatter in sight. I’m so grateful to your inspiration, and the whole systems you procure paved the model. You are strength and resilience,” Beyoncé wrote in a assertion posted to her site.
