Cardi B pulls out of the $30 million film ‘Assisted Living’ just days before filming begins.

The future of this picture is undoubtedly uncertain.

The comedy “Assisted Living” has been cancelled by production firm Paramount Players after star Cardi B dropped out.

The $30 million picture was barely a week away from starting production when the 29-year-old rapper dropped out, according to Deadline.

The other actors and crew were informed that the film had been temporarily cancelled.

According to sources, the cause for the “Bodak Yellow” singer’s departure was due to overextension.

Cardi was slated to portray a crook who must flee after being accused of a crime in the comedy. She seeks refuge in her grandmother’s retirement home in order to establish her innocence. Another funny aspect is that she wears old-lady prosthetics and cosmetics to blend in.

Thembi Banks, a Harlem native, was chosen to helm the film. According to Deadline, because this new information is occurring in real time, Cardi may face legal action as a result of her late leave.

In addition, the New York native was entangled in a contentious legal battle with YouTuber Tasha K. In January, Cardi was granted $4 million in a defamation action against the YouTuber, who claimed she got a sexually transmitted illness and cheated on her spouse.

The Post was unable to reach Cardi B’s representative for comment immediately.
