Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton has launched a pet apparel line called ‘Doggy Parton.’

(CNN) — Dolly Parton’s latest business venture is a flop.

The singer, actress, and author has announced the launch of “Doggy Parton,” a line of dog apparel and accessories produced in collaboration with SportPet Designs.

The collection will include shirts, dresses, squeaky toys, and even a Parton-inspired blonde wig. Willa B. Farms, a rescue organisation that provides a home for displaced animals, will receive a portion of the proceeds.

“‘Puppy Love’ was my very first record, and 6 decades later, my love for pets is stronger than ever,” Parton said in a statement. “This inspired me to start my own line of Doggy Parton apparel, accessories, toys, and more with a little ‘Dolly’ flair.” “A portion of the proceeds will benefit Willa B Farms, a rescue where animals in need find unending love; don’t we all need that?”

The products will initially be available through DoggyParton.com and Amazon, with additional retailers to be announced in the future.
