Ford Mustang Mach-E has been turned into an all-electric funeral car and stretch limousine

Due to the sheer technical complexity of modern electric cars, tuning and modifying EVs like the popular Ford Mustang Mach-E is anything but simple. However, a certain UK-based company has now illustrated that, with the according amount of effort, battery-powered vehicles can nevertheless be adapted to meet very special needs and requirements.

More specifically, Coleman Milne has now lengthened the aforementioned Ford Mustang Mach-E to almost 230 inches and has given the EV an additional pair of doors in order to turn the electric crossover into an elegant stretch limousine. To protect the privacy of very important passengers, there is an optional privacy glass and divider between the driver and passenger cab, which can fit up to seven people.

The additional space is used quite differently in the 247-inch hearse variant of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, whose quiet operation is well-suited for this sensitive use case, especially in comparison to a growling internal combustion engine. Up to three people can fit on the front bench in this heavily modified Ford Mustang Mach-E, and the funeral car’s 75 kWh battery can store enough energy for a range of up to 200 miles per charge. Although these conversions are not particularly interesting for consumers, they certainly demonstrate that electric vehicles are slowly but surely adopted for special use cases in various sectors.
