Frieze LA

Larry David, Heidi Klum, Margot Robbie, and other celebrities attend Frieze LA.

This week’s Frieze Los Angeles Art Show in Santa Monica, Calif., drew A-listers such as Larry David, Margot Robbie, Heidi Klum, and Shailene Woodley.

An insider tells Page Six on Tuesday that the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star stopped by gallerist Michael Rosenfeld’s booth where we’re told David chatted with Rosenfeld for “some time” before exploring the rest of the fair on Sunday.

The “Seinfeld” creator, 75, was dressed casually in a corduroy blue blazer layered over a T-shirt and a white baseball cap.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel is said to have purchased a Bob Thompson painting from the New York City gallery.

Owen Wilson was also sighted at the fair, when he “spent a long time” looking at Bob Thompson’s works. According to the source, Gwyneth Paltrow was observed “admiring” a Robert Irwin work at White Cube’s display.

The 50-year-old Goop entrepreneur looked stylish in a black and white blazer, black pants, and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Klum, 49, wore a fuzzy brown bucket hat while touring the expo with husband Tom Kaulitz, 33. Carter Reum attended the presentation without his wife, Paris Hilton, and briefly joined Klum and Kaulitz.

André 3000, Beck, Matt Bellamy, Zach Braff, Cindy Crawford, Tyler, the Creator, Fran Drescher, Bobby Flay, Roxane Gay, and Tina Knowles were among the other celebrities who attended the annual four-day art event.

Lisa Kudrow, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jared Leto, John McEnroe, Joe Montana, Lionel Richie, Kelly Rowland, Usher, Christoph Waltz, and Elijah Wood were also spotted shopping.

The fair sold an astounding amount of artwork this year. According to reports, the New York-based Gagosian Gallery sold out their entire booth of current works by artist Rick Lowe by the end of the VIP preview day.

According to the insider, other notable transactions included a $3.5 million painting by Mark Bradford, a $3 million photograph by Richard Prince, and a $500,000 bronze wall-mounted work by Keith Haring.

Every year, the ritzy art fair attracts high-profile artists. Last year’s show was attended by celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Kendall Jenner, The Weeknd, Pierce Brosnan, Will Ferrell, Rita Ora, Chris Rock, and others, as previously reported by Page Six.

Jenner’s omission from this year’s event was noteworthy given her role as a Frieze buyer. In 2020, the 37-year-old model purchased a sculpture by James Turrell from the Pace Gallery-Kayne Griffin Corcoran exhibit at the LA show.
