ANNAPURNA’S CAT ADVENTURE HAS OVERTAKEN GOD OF WAR
A weighted list shows that Stray is the game that Steam users liked the most this year.
Steam250 gives games on Steam a score based on how many people reviewed them and how many people gave them a positive or negative review.
Stray has a score of 8.61, based on 42,665 votes, of which 98 percent are positive. This makes it the best game released in 2022 so far (as spotted by Skill Up).
This puts God of War in second place, with an 8.56 score (based on 53,101 votes, of which 97% are positive).
Stray is currently at number 49 on Steam250’s all-time chart, which means it still has a long way to go before it’s at the top.
The top game of all time is Portal 2, which has a rating of 8.83 (based on 301,930 votes, of which 99% are positive), followed by Terraria, Stardew Valley, and Hades, and People Playground.
football 2022 used to be the worst-rated game of all time, according to Steam250. However, after a series of updates that made the game better, it is no longer in last place.
It’s now ‘only’ the tenth-worst user-rated game ever, behind the likes of Godus, Rollercoaster Tycoon World, Flatout 3, and the new ‘bottom’ entry, War of the Three Kingdoms.
Stray broke Annapurna’s record for most people playing at the same time on Steam when it came out earlier this month. At its peak, over 62,000 people were playing at the same time.
Stray was called one of Annapurna’s best releases so far in a review by VGC.
It says, “Stray is a master class in designing environments, with one of the most detailed game worlds we’ve seen.” It’s a little short, like its main character, but what’s in it will stay with you for a long time. Essential.”
